Purpose and Scope
DeKalb County’s public web trail is unusually split. The sheriff publishes stable contact information but no verified live roster link was found. Historical image-bearing iSOMS reports remain on media hosts, Tennessee VINE can provide custody notifications, TDOC FOIL applies to state felony custody, and the Circuit Court Clerk holds the official court-stage record. This site explains those boundaries so a dated weekly report is not mistaken for a same-day roster.
Coverage includes same-day confirmation, the multi-day arrest-report archive, VINE alerts, Smithville, Alexandria, and Liberty record routes, booking-photo requests, warrants, expungement, and court follow-up. No facility pages or person galleries are published.
Independent Ownership
This is a privately operated reference site. It is not affiliated with DeKalb County, the Sheriff’s Department, Smithville Police, Alexandria Police, any jail, court, the Tennessee Department of Correction, TBI, or another government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, change a record, offer legal advice, or compel an agency response.
The originating office remains responsible for its record. Arrests and booking photos document accusations, not guilt. Court disposition supplies the later context, and every person is presumed innocent unless guilt is proved in court.
Official Sources First
The county sheriff or jail leads a fresh booking inquiry. Municipal police hold their own incident reports. The DeKalb clerk controls official court records. VINELink provides status alerts, and TDOC handles state felony custody. Local news and third-party publishers appear only with a clear warning that they can be selective, stale, incomplete, or wrong.
Records are not offered for FCRA-covered decisions. This site is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used for credit, employment, housing, tenant, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
